How often does one get to see the makings behind the amazingly textured soba noodles before being served? Shimbashi Soba's Master Chef Mentor Yoshinori Shibazaki will stage live demonstrations every Wednesday and Friday here at Paragon for shoppers to witness the flour spectacle.

65-year old Master Chef Mentor Yoshinori Shibazaki has over 40 years of experience making Soba in Australia, Japan and Singapore. Besides holding the title of "Professional Chef" conferred by Japan's Health, Labour and Welfare Minister, he was also awarded the title of "Specialist Noodle Chef" – a rare honour within the Japanese soba industry.
