Having worked with countless Australian artists and groups as both a Music Director and accompanist, Nolan is well recognized and respected for his professionalism, integrity, personality and style. His debut CD - Stop When Everyone Is Moving – was released in 2001 and he went on to create, coproduce, and arrange the Waterfront Christmas CDs (as sold through Target stores) featuring some of Australia’s best known performers alongside grassroots talent; all to raise money for local charities.
In his late twenties, Nolan was recognised on a national scale when he undertook an onscreen Music Director role on Network 10’s Good Morning Australia (alongside TV legend, Bert Newton) for over 100 episodes. It was a challenging and rewarding extension to his experience as a performer and music producer/director and a stepping stone to touring and performing with innumerable artists at gigs and events; from the Peter Sullivan Big Band to legendary Motown group, The Drifters. After a brief sabbatical from performing, Nolan was back to session playing in the Melbourne scene before relocating to Singapore in 2013, where he continues to produce and write for a number of projects.
